Ubiquinol is found in differing amounts in many foods, including oily fish, meats or whole grains. However, it is difficult to achieve the daily recommended dose without consuming excessive amounts of these foods.
For example:
- 1,5 kg Peanuts
- 34 Chicken Breasts
- 60 Avocados
- 120 Cans of Sardines
- 50 Cups Spinach
- 133 tbsp Olive Oil
The Ubiquinol that occurs naturally in foods also oxidises very quickly and is easily converted to Ubiquinone, the inactive form of CoQ10 when it is cooked.
In order to receive the daily minimum required amount of Ubiquinol, the recommended dose is 100 – 150mg.
